OUR STORY
ADIC India was founded in October 2019 by Mr. Minlal Haokip with a vision of supporting rural and marginalized communities across India.
Inspired by his experiences working in community development, education, governance, and social impact initiatives, he established ADIC India to address the complex challenges faced by underserved populations, particularly in rural and conflict-affected regions.
Today, ADIC India continues to promote inclusive development through programs that strengthen education, livelihoods, environmental sustainability, and disaster resilience.
Our Founder, Mr. Minlal Haokip is a postgraduate student at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad, specializing in Rural Development and Governance. His academic focus is on understanding rural systems, public policy implementation, and strengthening local governance institutions such as Panchayati Raj bodies. He is particularly interested in decentralization, community participation, and improving public service delivery in rural and marginalized regions. He has developed competencies in Project Management within the development sector, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development programs. His skills include needs assessment, stakeholder analysis, budgeting, logical framework design, and impact evaluation, enabling effective and result-oriented project execution.
Minlal also has a strong understanding of NGO functioning, including program design, community mobilization, advocacy, capacity building, and grassroots implementation. He recognizes the critical role of NGOs in bridging gaps between government policies and community needs, especially in areas like education, health, rural livelihoods, and women’s empowerment.
He is also familiar with participatory development approaches that emphasize community engagement and inclusive decision-making. Overall, Mr. Minlal Haokip is an emerging development professional with growing expertise in Rural Development, Governance, Project Management, and NGO operations, committed to contributing to sustainable and inclusive rural development.
